The 51st ‘Urs’ ceremony of the esteemed father of the founder and leader of MQI, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, was held in Jhang. Speaking on the occasion, Shaykh-ul-Islam said that Hazrat Farid-e-Millat Dr. Farid-ud-Din Qadri (R.A) played an active role in the Pakistan Movement and was seated on the stage with central leaders during the famous session of March 23, 1940. Hazrat Farid-e-Millat Dr. Farid-ud-Din Qadri (R.A) had the honor of meeting the Hakim-ul-Ummat Allama Dr Muhammad Iqbal.
Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that when a person mentions Allah and His Messenger (peace be upon him), Allah Almighty illuminates his heart with the blessings of His remembrance. He further said that the description of annihilating one's ego comes to those hearts in which Allah resides. He said that the people should illuminate their hearts with the remembrance of Allah in such a way that every desire, every sorrow, and everything of the world fades away.
In the ceremony of the blessed 51st anniversary, MQI Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gundapur, Syed Altaf Hussain Shah Gilani, Prince Muhammad Suleiman Qamar Qadri, Allama Rana Muhammad Idris Qadri, Raja Zahid Mahmood, Noorullah Siddiqui, Jawwad Hamid, Prince Muhammad Tahir Qadri, Allama Hafiz Abdul Qadeer Qadri, Ain-ul-Haq Baghdadai, Abdul Rahman Malik, Shahzad Rasool Qadri, Dr. Atiq-ur-Rehman, Haji Is'haq, Abid Bashir Qadri, Nisbat Bajwa Advocate, and representatives and workers from all forums participated in large numbers.
A large number of scholars and spiritual leaders also participated in the ceremony. Naib Nazim-i-Ala Allama Rana Muhammad Idris Qadri also addressed the gathering. Naats were recited at the court of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) by renowned personalities of Pakistan including Haji Akhtar Qureshi, Shahbaz Qamar Afridi, Muhammad Afzal Noshahi, Muhammad Shakil Tahir, Khurram Shahzad Brothers, and Zahir Balali Brothers. Qari Noor Ahmad Chishti had the honor of reciting the Holy Quran, while Allama Ghulam Rabbani Timor fulfilled the duties of Nikah.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, special prayers were offered for the speedy recovery of Administrator Darbar Farid Multan, Muhammad Sughatullah Qadri. Special prayers were also made for the safety, stability, happiness, and prosperity of Pakistan.
